{Outfit Post} PINEAPPLE PARTY

🍍🍍 pineapples seem like a crazy print to play around with on dresses but I love my pineapple dress!! $5 from Bangkok's Platinum Fashion Mall hahaha. I paired it with a gold belt, my yellow clutch and my flatforms, so here's the look!

Dress - Bangkok ($5)
Belt - Bangkok ($2)
Clutch - Bangkok ($4)
Flatforms - Taiwan

Here's a closer details picture

Quite a usual Sunday routine for me today. Went to church, off to lunch at Jack's Place, and now going home. Probably will spend my Sunday watching youtube videos all day long. I am starting my Three Day Challenge which is about moulding yourself to be a healthier person, inside out. I'll share more about it after I am done with it! Here's what my family ordered for lunch. I ate the grilled fish with kiwi salad and shared it with my youngest brother.

ps. It's REBECCA's birthday today and I am so happy for her!! 😁 I am really so happy to have met her and she is an amazing person! Happy birthday to you if you happen to be reading!

MILD DEPRESSION

Don't take my post title too seriously. I am not suffering from depression, even though I feel really confused and trapped now. Can you believe that exactly one week ago, I was in Bangkok shopping at my Favourite mall ever? :(

I always do this time recall thing when I am not enjoying my life in the current moment. I feel so lost about university this week, because I know nuts about modules and what I am supposed to do. I am worried about the environment of my hostel and I am dreading the end of holidays... 8 months is gone like that?! :(

I feel like university is seriously moulding you to be an independent person. EVERYTHING is up to you to figure it out yourself and I feel so alone. Cross my fingers and hope that everything will settle into it's place once university starts.

Hope you are feeling better than me.

Xin Hui

{Outfit Post} ONE PIECE

My issue with rompers... They either give me cameltoes, too small at my bust or too small at the waist. Some without adjustable straps make it impossible to wear, and I have given up buying rompers... But when I saw this colourful floral romper in bkk, I HAD to buy it...

I tried it on today, and YES!! Love it to bits. It fits me nicely, slightly too loose at the chest area but heck it. Paired it with a gold belt and my red bag (:

Everything from BKK! Romper for $4, bag for $8, belt for $2!! I LOVE BKK!!

BKK FOR THE 8TH TIME

Here's to flying to Bangkok for the 8th time in my life!! This trip was so much hassle from having to persuade my parents to FINALLY allow me to go, from finding company to booking flight and hotel!! Finally, in one week, I'll be in BKK right now! So exciting for everything (:

Day One

So yeah!! I am in BKK now hahaha. I am staying at Baiyoke Sky Hotel and it is AMAZING. I am staying in a Junior Suite Room and there is a panoramic view of Bangkok! Absolutely STUNNING esp at night!

You will never know how beautiful this is till you're right here standing in front of this splendor. Free welcome drinks (fruit punch) at the hotel's Bar which is also COOL and AWEEESOME

Me and my non alcoholic drink hehe

We ordered a Mojito and another non alcoholic drink since it's so cheap. Less than SG$5 per person! Hahaha the DJ played English pop songs like "Pumped Up Kicks" which I love!

So anyway, that was what I did in the evening AFTER the real happiness ended. I bought so many clothes today!! Yay!! My hotel is literally 5 mins away from platinum mall by foot, so convenient! And on the way to the hotel, there were shops selling wholesale clothings at REALLY cheap prices. Like $4 for a chiffon midi skirt!! YES!!! I won't be uploading most clothes since I bought so many of it, but I'll update my outfits in outfits posts and indicate the ridiculously cheap prices then (:

I also got this really edgy red workbag, I wanted to get more bags but they were so bulky to lug around while shopping. Platinum Mall seems to have more clothes that appeal to me this time round but prices are a little steeper than what I remembered it to be too. The last time I came around December holidays, there were many clearance sales but it's rare now. Still, the clothes are cheaper than SG, so totally worth it!

My outfit today
Striped Top - Cotton On
Denim Skirt - Bangkok
Flatforms - Taiwan
Cap - Hong Kong

Day Two

Today is a Sunday and Pratunum Morning Market isn't open on Sunday!!!! We didn't know so we woke up at 5am zzz and went back to the hotel after the hotel staff informed us *facepalm* Probably will hit Chatuchak and Siam Square if there is enough time today.

Chatuchak was goooood. Found many nice clothings that were all below $16! Hehe like tops for $8 and rompers for $8 too! We were at Chatuchak for close to 3 hours and we were really tired lugging out bags around so we went back to the hotel to put our stuff down!

In the evening, my cousin and I went to shop at the stalls outside our hotel but there were so little stalls opened, so we decided to can down to Siam square. Yay to cheap taxi!! I am regretting so much for not bringing enough cash to Siam Square. Well, at least I have more money for Pratunum Morning Market tmrw then!

Outfit today (:
Dress - The Closet Lover
Bag - a gift from my dear friend, Samantha
Shoes - Bangkok

------------------------------------------------

Day Three

Woke up at 5am for Pratunum Morning Market and here comes the reason why I LOVE my hotel. Pratunum Morning Market is a literal 30SECONDS walk out from my hotel!! Sooooo convenient!! The stuff were damn cheap also OMG. 120Baht for a full set of long pants + flutter spag top! Or 70Baht for a denim high waisted shorts! I didn't have much money left for shopping on day three and that is one thing I regret the most - spending too much at Platinum and not saving enough for the morning market. The quality and design of the clothes in both places are the same and yet the prices at Platinum are at least 2 times higher than that at Pratunum...

We then went back to our hotel to sleep more and we went back up to the observation deck to take more photos

We headed to platinum mall AGAIN to spend our last 1000baht and I also played golf at my hotel!! 120 balls for 100 baht only (:

Outfit of the day details!
Top - Carousell
Hws - Bugis Street

So yeah, that's all for BKK! I love this place and I always will 🙆

RELIVING CHILDHOOD MEMORIES

I spent my Friday evening meeting my childhood bestie Valerie. We used to stay in the same condominium before we both shifted out. It has been close to 2 years since I have shifted and I glad we sometimes meet up to have lunch or dinner together. Today, we wanted to meet at Knuckles, a bistro near my house. But it was so crowded as the space is small and the staff were slow in serving the food. Gave it a skip but we went to Hatter Street to get a dessert.

Ordered this Nutella tart which was so-so. Just lots of Nutella hahah, nothing very remarkable about it. But the deco so nice!! (:

We ate Domino's Pizza for dinner.

Here's Val (:

2 pizzas for $22 but we didn't finish it all. I brought it home for my family to eat the rest. The classified chicken was really good!! But I think they put a lot of mayo, and I am quite disgusted now cause I actually don't eat mayo.... Yet it's delicious.....

Valerie is at my house now because we are going to celebrate my maid's birthday! Yay!! I bought my maid a Sea Salt Chocolate Tart from Lola's Cafe ($5) as a gift. I tried it before and it's one of my favourite dessert. My dad bought a big cake to celebrate her birthday and we're waiting for the rest of my family to come back home (:

My OOTD for today!

Top - Malaysia
Shorts - Forever 21
Shoes - TOMS (inspired hahah)
Bag - Bugis Street

That's all for today 😊✨
