DECEMBER UPDATES

I am writing this post just 13 minutes after Christmas ended. But Merry Christmas to everyone :) This Christmas isn't exactly what I wanted it to be, but things seldom turn the way you want it to be anyway.

So, I will just ramble on about updates this month and hopefully, have something good in store to keep you all (MY FANS HAHA) excited about.

1) I have received my exam grades in the first semester of NUS. I am happy with my results. Given the amount of effort I put in, these results are a great reward and my verdict of the bell curve in NUS is that it is helping me haha. After S/U-ing 2 modules (really didn't want to S/U so many, but I can't carry forward all to next semester and all, so after battling with the decision, I just decided to S/U 3) , my CAP is now 4.5!!!! It's such a good score, even though I know it's pretty pretentious with the S/Us and all. But ain't nobody be a wet blanket here!! I am happy, so it'll help me if you're happy for me too.

2) Samantha and I are going to Bangkok for a holiday. like OMG. After 5 years of knowing each other, this is our very first trip overseas together!!! :) Very very excited about it and since this will be my last trip before school starts again, Sam and I agreed to do away with the excessive shopping, and just really have more time to relax (think : parks, cafe etc). I think this will be a great breather for me, really go away from all the problems going on now. Thank God. Also, I will be discussing this with Sam real soon. But this silly girl and I often toyed with the thought of going to each other's blog and write a post in the capacity of a guest blogger. I think posting about the BKK trip on each other's blog will be a great idea. In case you're interested in viewing Sam's blog, here you go : http://shuenlw.blogspot.sg
I think Sam doesn't know this but she is the reason why I started blogging again. I mean, I started blogging in primary school, when everyone HAD TO have a blog because it was cool and all. But I stopped since I went to JC. After reading her blog for a period of time, I decided I will start blogging again.

3) I changed my spectacles!! I am currently wearing a black rimmed spectacles.
with sam and tae at Udders

But I changed to something similar to this

ok, it doesn't even look 80% similar

I can't find my exact new spectacles on it on google, But the design is the same. My new specs has a squarish frame, and the sides are gold thin frames, not the plastic flimsy kind. Think : classy. I insist these are leopard printed and not what disgusting turtle shell sam claims. even though i googled "turtle shell spectacles" on google to get the above image

I will be receiving them soon I guess. and my degree didn't change after 2 years!! WOWEE

That's all I have for today's posts. Hope everyone is enjoying their holiday!

Xin Hui

{Cafe Culture} Real Food

When you think of real food, think ethical and healthy food. This almost seems like a vegetarian restaurant to me. There is absolutely no meat in the whole menu, so don't bother looking. In return, you have lots of vegetables and carbs.

Samantha (<3) and I went to the outlet at Clarke Quay Central and we ordered a Grilled Vegetables Tomato Pasta ($10.80) and Dumpling Soup with organic noodles ($11.30).

I didn't eat most of the vegetables in the pasta, because I don't fancy brinjals  or bell peppers. The sauce was pretty okay. On a whole, the whole dish was alright, I guess. Nothing impressive, but it was a decent plate of pasta.

The dumplings in the dumpling soup was much more worth the calories. The dumplings were steamed and it was delicious! Can't believe that there is no meat inside. It was crunchy and tastes slightly sweet. The soup tasted so much like Maggi Mee's Chicken Flavoured Soup Base but rest assured that this is REAL FOOD hehe.

The whole restaurant was very spacious. With ample seating, set in a minimalistic design, it was a great place to chill with friends and Sam and I did have our fair share of catching up. This place doesn't charge service charge, so in return, walk to pick up your own menu, place your own order, and collecting your utensils. Luckily, Sam is my personal slave, so she did everything for me!! HAHA

It was a great evening spent with Samantha, as with every outing with her. What will I do without you, Sam? Life would be a lot more boring and I wouldn't be able to laugh as much.

BALI 2014

Just where do I begin? This Bali trip has been amazing, from all the shopping to the activities I did, I am so grateful for this trip to re-energise myself. This trip is also significant because of a personal reason. All in all, Bali has exceeded my expectations and I'll note down the little details I loved most.

The first day was kind of wasted since I reached Bali in the late afternoon. I only managed to do a little shopping at the nearby mall, Lippo Mall. Starbucks was cheaper there too. It was around $5 for a Venti sized Starbucks! I drank like 3 cups in a 5 day trip (calories overload dc).

I had many first-time experiences this trip. I went parasailing, flew the flying fish, sat the ATV, went water rafting, visited a monkey forest and witnessed 2 gorgeous sunsets with great scenery! The activities were pretty expensive, say US$35 for a 1 minute experience of parasailing? Haha, but these experiences will be with me for a long time, so I encourage you all to just spend and have a ball of a time when you go to Bali too!

Do make a trip down to some of the factory outlets if you happen to have spare time too, because many surfers brand like Ripcord and BillaBong have great discounts. I bought my rocker-chic aztec printed black sandals from Ripcurls at around $9 only!

I'll just dump some photos here and you can check my whole trip on my Youtube channel! I made a vlog :) Strangely, now that I am documenting everything into a vlog, I seem more open to try new things. On one hand, I want something interesting to video down. On the other hand, I have much more fun as well :) Vlog link at the bottom of this blog post!!

I was so awed by this view. Cliffs, waves, sun, wind. Mother Nature is amazing.
I wanted to stay there forever. I didn't care if I had salty tasting hair, I just loved every bit of this.

Selfie with a family of monkeys.
Haha, this picture reminded me of how afraid I was of the monkeys. PHOTOS ARE DECEIVING GUYS. The monkey were a were 10cm away from me!! Why does the photo make it seem like I am standing quite a distance away from them?? And I was terrified of the monkeys. One slapped my brother, and my mother was warning of how all monkeys have ticks/fleas on them, and if I touch any of the monkeys, the ticks will fly onto me (OMG)

Me being brave and sassy all before the scary ATV rides started!! The engine was so hot, I thought it was going to explode any moment.

I WISH THAT I COULD BE LIKE THE COOL KIDS

" I wish that I could be like the cool kids. Cause all the cool kids, they seem to fit in" Echosmith - Cool Kids

This song is so sick!! And I am addicted to it at the moment!

This week, I got some really cool stuff planned out and everyday is really an adventure for me!! but I really spent so much this week (it's like Friday and I have already spent $400) and my wallet is cryinng, pleading with me that being thrifty is a virtue. But I guess I'll just have to work harder and earn back everything... AFTER MY HOLS!!!

So stoked to be flying this Sunday to BALI (Asia's Maldives) !!!! YAYYY!! Like finally managed to persuade my dad to bring us there. I might be gg to BKK again depending on whether I manage to find company too :))

AND THE MOST IMPT UPDATE heehee I am shooting a vlog this week! With my new Nikon Coolpix 20.1MP (!!) camera heehee I think I am putting my creative juices to good use.

I am v inspired by jenn im (pls check her out on YT) and I am the next vlogger in town bb >:))

I wish I could take a picture of everything I bought cause everything is so pretty but then my OOTDs won't be surprising anymore so nope.

AND I AM HAVING A FLEA SOONNNN to sell all my clothes that I don't want to wear anymore!! I rarely wear my clothes more than twice (unless it's really freakin gorgeous like my h&m floral skater dress I can sleep in) and some items are still brand new with tags!!! I just never seem to be in the right occasion to wear them. EVERYTHING WILL BE <$15!! Like what?!? Topshop, A&F, H&M, F21, New Look, Uniqlo, TCL, Love Bonito, Pull And Bear etcetc all under $15!!

I hate to sell my clothes away but my wardrobe is officially dead (like if you stand in front of my wardrobe and try to open it, you'll die cause all my clothes will fall on u and flatten u like a pancake). And if I clear space, I can buy more clothes!!!! The flea will be at *Scape so please come ( date will be released soon) !!!

Thank u very much!! And I am going USS tmrw yay!!!!! Ps. Post finals luvin'

POST EXAM

The sense of liberation is amazing!!! Thank you God for the end of examinations! At the last minute of your last paper, you breath in and out exhilaration and I can burst with joy when the examiner says "STOP".  My brain can stop revolving about senseless studying yesss...

Spent the last time studying for finals yesterday at Smoothie King at Somerset@313. Confession : I can study especially well when the people around me are not studying/wasting their time lolol. It makes me feel more hardworking and it keeps me motivated. Mum joined me after finishing with her shopping at Metro and she wanted to eat Marché, so we did!

Marché's food is never really very good. The saving grace is how cool its interior is. I preferred the pasta a lot more than the rosti, but I suspect they don't add MSG into the pasta, so there wasn't this distinct salty taste in the cream pasta. But you can just add in cheese to compensate for the lack of flavour! We had the vegetable pasta in cream sauce (healthy much?) and the Rosti with Garlic Cheese Sausage (so oily yuck)

After the last exam today, my myriad of celebrations started! I went with my classmates to Vivo City and ate Paik's Bibimbap. I initially thought the portion was huge but its actually just the bowl thats very big. My friend and I shared a Beef Bulgogi Bibimbap ($8.50) and it's a thumbs up from me! There were lots of veggie added and the beef was tender enough. I don't eat sauce, so I didn't add the spicy red sauce, but my friends all said it was super spicy so watch out!!

(Beef Bulgolgi)

(Terriyaki Chicken)

I went window shopping for a while after that before meeting Chit Hui! We had dinners at Knuckles, a bistro near Kovan MRT that serves affordable german fare. I had the Aglio Olio with Chicken and Mushroom ($8) and Chit Hui had the German Pork Knuckles ($10). I enjoyed my pasta but I think Chit Hui's pork was too tough. He had a hard time chewing lolol.

We then went to catch a movie called Fury. OMG BEST MOVIE OF THE YEAR. The movie was based in world war era. It's about 5 people who are comrades, working together in a war tank, and they were killing the Nazis. They died one by one, leaving the newest crew to join the team left alive. So scary yet nerve-wrecking. My heart beat so fast and I was intrigued every moment of the way!

Hehe Day one post exam relaxation :) Thank you Chit Hui for treating me to dinner and the movie, and for walking me back home!! hehe i sure heard you panting while walking at the upslope part heehee.

Alright! Since the exams are over, I am going to try to lead a healthier lifestyle and spare more time for my family, enjoy my holidays and hope to do some meaningful things! :) HAPPY VIBES EVERYBODY!!

thunderstorm

okay so freaking creepy. I was thinking what my blog post title should be when suddenly, this freaking crazy LOUD thunderstorm blasted. Never got shocked by thunder until 30 seconds ago.

so anyway!! little update!! blogging from my brand new macbook pro :)))) hehe my undying love for apple products. This is comparatively heavier compared to my previous macbook air, but I guess I'll adjust soon enough. My most hated Acc1002 exam is over!!!! I think I did quite badly but heck it, it's OVERRRR. One more exam this saturday and I am so hyped up for all my upcoming holidays. Bali is the first stop!! :) Can't wait for all the fun to begin once exams are over.

(first selfie from macbook pro)

I've been feeling so lazy and fat so I am going to go for a run once this thunderstorm is over!! oh and good news, I did well for my public speaking modules and received q high scores for all my speeches. As to whether I'll get an A, I need to see how the bell curve treats me :))

hehe finally some happier news from meeeeee. Alright, back to studying for me!! I hope my next post can be more exciting and I'll update more soon :) THANKS EVERYBODY FOR READING (hi gen heehee)

read in boredom only

I predict this post to be really incoherent, because I have nothing much to write about, but I am just doing this to while my time away.

Finals in 2 weeks and surprisingly, I don't feel too worried about it. I am still studying everyday but it doesn't seem like a big deal. I don't know if this is good or bad anyway haha. I have officially (self-proclaimed) made this iMac mine because I am forever hogging this iMac in the Macs Common Room. It is rather conducive to study here and resources are always one click away.

Listening to Taylor Swift's 1989 full album as I am typing this. Oh I shall share the super random things I found out while googling nonsense yesterday hehe.

"Style" by Taylor Swift is apparently about Harry Styles and they broke up reportedly because Taylor suspected Harry was cheating on her. Wowee. I also watched a documentary on YouTube and it was about a major fraud case on Who Wants To Be a Millionaire? This greedy guy cheated on the show and won himself a million bucks, but the show crew suspected something strange going on throughout recording and later , the police was called in and this guy and his accomplice went to jail. The way they cheated was rather stupid also. His accomplice would cough once this guy read the correct answer to signal to the guy "that's the correct option!!" ... so obv when the staff reviewed the whole taping, they heard the regular coughs... Such a greedy man. Next story. I watched a video showing Ariana Grande's house and it is not as grand as I expected it to be but her voice is still really good (see, what I am writing makes no sense)

I was contemplating going clubbing tonight since I have absolutely nothing to study for my test tomorrow, but I am not going to cause I want to go for the test with an alert mind, and plus a few other reasons...

I met Gen and Sam for dinner at Vivo 2 days earlier. and Max Brenner Chocolate Bar was such a disappointment. $18 for a small and not so tasty portion of brownie + ice cream. Yay, gen drove us back and her driving is quite steady!! Makes me feel like learning although I am quite lazy and still scared... HI GEN IF YOU'RE READING HAHA.

I still miss my holidays and it seems like it was just a short while back that I was relaxing and all.

" Trust is still something I battle with a lot. Many things around me makes me feel afraid to entrust you with my trust. I want to take a gamble, but if you fail me, then there'll be nothing left of me. Will you take my trust and guard it well? " I found this somewhere and it really represents whatever is going on now.

end of incoherence "Life was never worse, but never better" Taylor's lyrics are pretty darn good.

blues feels

Holla!!! yay good vibes today bc the weekends have been awesome!!!! I went on a no budget shopping spree this weekend cause mum decided to be v generous w me this weekend. My favourtie but has got to be my Charles and Keith Bag!! Yes!!! I've always wanted one but it's so expensive so tyvm mummy :) I am going to carry it till death!!

Ok so I wrote this post bc I've always loved music and the exam period may be a bitch but it is also during the exam period that I get to listen to many nice songs while studying (note : stuDYING. lame but on point!!)

so since I am so naise, I am going to share w you my hit songs of the moment!! heehee

1. Ghost by Ella Henderson

"I keep going to the river to pray, cause I need something that can wash the pain away"

2. Ayo by Shinee

This is a Korean song and obv I don't understand the lyrics but you don't have to learn Korean to love kpop.

3. Out of the woods by Taylor Swift

I didn't like it the first time I heard it but her songs have this strange power of alluring you so just keep listening to it on repeat

4. Blank Space by Taylor Swift

5. Clean by Taylor Swift

so that's all I have now. go hear these songs and if you like it, then high five. We stand a chance to be friends bc people with the music taste can click v well tgt heehee

anyway quick random fact is that once I fall in love with a song, I listen it on repeat like MANY MANY times. Think at least 20 times and maybe after 2-3 days of listening to the song, I'll start to get sick of it then I'll change.

WEEK 9

Week 9 of school just went by. Here's an update!

I dare say I've become comfortable in class to be speaking out more now. Thank goodness since I will also be graded upon my class participation. I received my Mid Term score and even though I am at the 25th percentile, I wont let that beat me down. I remember myself struggling through everything before I made it in the end too. This is not going to be an exception.

I went for tchoukball training with Wing. Thanks Wing for accompanying me! Love you loadss <3 I like the sport, I like working as a team and I love sweating from a good workout! I cant wait for the next training!

Highlight of last week has to be Friday. I finally surprised Sam with the card that I took so much effort to do! So obvious I have given my heart to this girl already. I handed Sam her present when our whole clique met a few days before her actual birthday and idk, but I THINK she was upset I didnt write her a card? haha idk but I would be sasd if there wasnt a card for my birthday. On Friday which was her actual birthday, Charis and I got a cake from Starbucks and waited outside her class to surprise her! hehe then I wasted my time doing nonsense before going for USS HHN4.

I recently feel very awkward when I go home. I am always a bit more touchy when I go home 'cause I am so exhausted from giving tuition throughout the weekend. I am afraid of getting into quarrels so I rarely talk when I am home...

Can I also just give a mini rant here because I feel that if any of my friends see this, it can clear up any misunderstandings or anything. I don't like it when my friends are constantly on their phone when I am with them. First off, I think its plain rude. Its basic respect to a fellow stranger to look at them when you're talking, what more when you're with your friend?! Working as a waitress before, I have seen how some family dinners turn out to be so quiet and boring because EVERYONE was on their phone. I feel that it is more important to focus with the person you're with, give full attention to the company you invited out then stick with your phone all the time. I am glad my mother taught me ever since I got my first handphone how it should never distract me from my surroundings. My family dinners are always more cheery, livelier than the table next to us. At the table next to us, there's always a phone addict. So if you're guilty of this, my advice to you is change now. The conversations you have with the person right in front of you is more important than how many likes your recently posted Instagram photo is having, more important than the person you're whatsapping, more valuable than the never-ending "new" tweets.

Some of my close friends have asked me before why I never seem to have important whatsapp messages to attend to, social media addiction problem. "Well, because I value YOU more than that. I am grateful for the time you sacrificed to meet me. And I respect you." Simple as that.

Don't let your phone addiction kill your relationships.

On a happier note, I had a really good food monday with my university friends! For lunch, I went with Desmond, Ai Ling, Chu Wen, Serene, Benny, Zi Hui and Felicia to dine at Late Plate! Best cafe in NUS! I had the Tom Yum Pasta ($9.90) and it was not bad! The Tom Yum taste was distinctive and it was rich in flavour. I didn't find the flavour to be overpowering, neither did I feel gelat after eating it. But I dont eat mussels and calamaris so I didn't like picking out the calamaris from my pasta noodles hehe. If you're big on Seafood, go try it! It's quite common for the chefs to give you a free serving of fries for your company to enjoy, so do make sure to put on a smile while ordering! :)

For dinner, I ate at REEDZ Cafe with Xinmei! I love the food there. I dont like Biz Canteen so REEDZ Cafe is a god-sent!! Today, I had the Beef Bolognese. V yummy and so cheap! $5.90 only :) To date, I have tried the Mushroom Grilled Chicken and the Turkey Bacon Aglio Olio as well. All were of satisfactory standard :)

Have a great week ahead you! :)

USS HALLOWEEN NIGHT 4

Celebrating Halloween for the first time in my life! I went to Universal Studios Singapore for Halloween Horror Nights 4! Overall, I didn't really enjoy myself but the rides were quite scary. There are 4 scare zones and 4 special haunted houses. My favourite is "Jing's Revenge" ! The setting was in a school and it was a Chinese ghost theme.

Other haunted houses included "Bogeyman", "Jack's 3D" and one more. I can't remember all the names :(

Photo spam coming up!

I was more afraid when I was in the scare zones! I think these ghosts can sense my fear when I stop in my track after seeing them and some even chased after me!! OMG I screamed and ran all the way. I was so terrified. I Realised I am more afraid of ogres/zombies/clowns than human like ghosts.

I think the company you go with plays a really big part in determining whether you will enjoy your visit to hhn4. I saw a couple quarreling while queuing and refusing to speak to one another. I saw a group of foreigners signing loudly while waiting for the rides, having a ball of a time. You can have friends creating activities while queuing for the rides (queuing was v long. Min waiting time was 1 hour) or you can go with people whining all the way through. You can have friends talking to you, entertaining each other while waiting, or you can have friends be constantly self absorbed by your phone.

You choose how much fun you decide to have by the actions you do, words you say, and thinking you have. My advice? Have hell lots of fun once you enter the gates of USS. Since you paid for the ticket, choose to make the best out of it. And pick the right company to go with.

Xin Hui

YOU/ME

You change whenever we are not alone. Your priorities are so different from mine and you make me feel wrong. Do you become closer friends with the passing of time or the quality of time? If you can't appreciate what's in front of you, then you'll never find what you really need.

The way you talk, act, behave makes me feel very awkward. I can't believe totally the words you say, because I've seen you put on a mask in front of others as well. Maybe the side of you I am seeing is a second layer.

{Outfit Post} FEEL LIKE A PRINCESS

Why you should wear a maxi dress according to Xin Hui
1. Put your heels to good use
2. Don't need to shave/wax your legs
3. Don't have to worry about your panties showing lol
4. Maxi dresses are so pretty??

Thank God that I am a bit taller than the average Singaporean girl so yay, I can buy maxi dresses without worrying about the length! My favourtie maxi dress to date!

Maxi dress - The Closet Lover!

This is the TCL Farfelle Maxi Dress in Cream. Digging the intricate crotchet details at the bottom! TCL is one of my favourtie online stores because the quality of the clothes are always top-notch and the designs are very unique. Enter <XinHuixTcl> to get a discount off every item.

HAHHAHA NO I WAS KIDDING. Please don't try that. HAHAHAHA laughing at my own joke okay sorry v lame.

After church, Dad brought the family to Hort Park and it's such a beautiful place!! There were wedding shoots taking place and I can envision myself taking wedding shoots there too hahaha. The weather was being so nice to us too ahhhhhhh.... Good news!! I have a 5 day weekend this week! Haha! Shiok life maxxx but I gotta stay home and study for my upcoming mid terms! :( hope to do well for my first exam in university!!

HOLLAND VILLAGE OF CAFES

It's a well known fact that holland village is home to many cafes. Everywhere you walk, there are so many cafes to explore! I am so excited that NUS is relatively near to Holland Village so I expect myself to be popping over to HV and indulging in good food quite often!

I headed now to HV with Natasha this week after our tutorial and our friend, Han, gave us a ride there!

hehe the pampered life of being chauffeured around! Thanks Han!! I'll treat you v soon as promised hehe

I have been wanting to try Sunday Folks for the longest time ever and I am glad the queue was short when I arrived! Nat and I shared a waffle and it was served within 30minutes. Talking to this girl made time fly so quickly that I didn't even realize the wait was so long!

I was sitting on a chair without backrest so it wasn't very comfortable to chill but I guess you could always request for another seat if you're intending to stay there for long!

I chose Vanilla Ice Cream! So pretty hehe.  I think it's smart of cafes to put some flowers on the table as it acts as a good prop for photo-taking hehe.

The waffles were very good! Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The ice cream complemented the waffle very well. This was $11.80!

We then headed to Baker and Cook for dinner cause ain't no one says desserts must be after dinner.

A really big portion for $9.50 w a salad of your choice! So happy that the dressing for the salad was light as I really hate any overpowering taste of any dressing on my salad. We chose the bacon pie which was really nice. This place wasn't as crowded as Sunday Folks and we sat longer to chill. I would recommend this place for people to catch up! They were selling many sweet desserts but I was too full at this point already! Will go back soon for more :)

That's all I have for today's post. See you soon!

Xin Hui

FOOD HUNT SUNDAYS

Hehe introducing my very first hashtag with my best friend - SAMANTHA LOW SHU EN!! #TeamSXAdventures hehehe sam keeps laughing at me for being so excited about a hashtag but I don't care!! Hahaha I can't wait to hang out more w this girl and add more memories to our hashtag ❤️❤️ hehe

(discretely adding in our tourist shots LOL)

So I met up with Sam and had dinner at Concetto by Saveur! It prides itself in being an affordable Italian dining restaurant and yes the prices are REALLY affordable!

CAN U SEE MY DSLR BABY hehe

I always think how crazy it is for bloggers to lug their DSLRs out and snap photos but after today, I realised how worth it is it?! HAHA the photos are of GREAT quality and I'll be uploading all the photos up here so if this is lagging on you, I am sorry! :P

I ordered a Duck Tortellini ($12.90++) and woah... When I took the first bite, my facial expression was like :O Sam thought I was joking and I kept telling her to just try mine. She claims that she only eats seafood and is on a no meat diet (tryna be healthy bullshit AHAHAH) so I persuaded her to just take one bite of my food and her face also went :O

HAHAH it's SOO good. There's so much flavour bursting in your mouth! The fragrance of the duck, the saltiness of the poached egg, the pasta skin etc JUST WOAHHH.I think I really like it becasue it was a fresh taste - something I have never tried before. The duck was tender which also added major plus points. Haha but I got really full and gelat from eating it so I would suggest you to share it! It's one of those food where you will love the first bite then feel sick of it after eating a lot haha

I read many reviews about how little the portion is, and I cant understnad why?! There are 4 pieces of Tortellini (Sam insists 5) and I was full by the end of the 2nd one.

(photo-worthy hehe)

Sam ordered a Prawn Aglio Olio ($13.90++) since I repeat, she claims she is on a no meat diet. HAHA ok clearing Sam's name. Yes, she is kinda strict on herself but under immense pressure by me, she will cave in and eat whatever I tell her to. HAHAH HI SAM. Again, the price is very reasonable! Her pasta was definitely yummy as well!

We then went to Plaza Singapura to find desserts and settled for an Awfully Chocolate Créme Brûlée White Chocolate ($7)! So rich and creamy!

Calories overload at this point already yet we still went to eat...

CHURROSSS hehe I didn't have a really pleasant experience since the service staff was quite rude and the waiting time was kind of long. But the churros were not bad. I don't think it's fantastic, or a definite must try. It's hot and crispy but lacks full flavour. We shared the Choco Churros ($9.90) that comes with white chocolate dip, milk chocolate dip and dark chocolate dip. Our Favourite was the milk chocolate! But I still feel that the USS's cinnamon churros are way better and I can't wait to eat those Churros the following week when I go to USS for the Halloween party!

Always an enjoyable time out with Samantha and I can't wait to meet her again soon!! Love you very much and go ahead embarrassing yourself in front of me or even violating me, I love you all the same if not even more.

Love,
Xin Hui
