HOLLAND VILLAGE OF CAFES

It's a well known fact that holland village is home to many cafes. Everywhere you walk, there are so many cafes to explore! I am so excited that NUS is relatively near to Holland Village so I expect myself to be popping over to HV and indulging in good food quite often!

I headed now to HV with Natasha this week after our tutorial and our friend, Han, gave us a ride there!

hehe the pampered life of being chauffeured around! Thanks Han!! I'll treat you v soon as promised hehe

I have been wanting to try Sunday Folks for the longest time ever and I am glad the queue was short when I arrived! Nat and I shared a waffle and it was served within 30minutes. Talking to this girl made time fly so quickly that I didn't even realize the wait was so long!

I was sitting on a chair without backrest so it wasn't very comfortable to chill but I guess you could always request for another seat if you're intending to stay there for long!

I chose Vanilla Ice Cream! So pretty hehe.  I think it's smart of cafes to put some flowers on the table as it acts as a good prop for photo-taking hehe.

The waffles were very good! Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The ice cream complemented the waffle very well. This was $11.80!

We then headed to Baker and Cook for dinner cause ain't no one says desserts must be after dinner.

A really big portion for $9.50 w a salad of your choice! So happy that the dressing for the salad was light as I really hate any overpowering taste of any dressing on my salad. We chose the bacon pie which was really nice. This place wasn't as crowded as Sunday Folks and we sat longer to chill. I would recommend this place for people to catch up! They were selling many sweet desserts but I was too full at this point already! Will go back soon for more :)

That's all I have for today's post. See you soon!

Love,
Xin Hui
