It's a chinese new year

The photo that represents the festivity of this blessed period. Fun fact : I don't eat Yu Sheng because I generally don't eat a lot of sauces, so I am quite disgusted by the amount of honey and other sauces in this dish. But I always make sure I mix this well and raise my chopsticks the highest so that I'll have the greatest luck this year (HAHAH LOL).

My extended family. We were seated in the exact positions, doing the same pose as we did for a family photo 12 years ago.

family - no money can buy you a family.

found a magnifying glass that can widen my smile
I suppose you can tell from the photos how much fun I had for CNY! This year was as fun as always, but a bit different as some of my cousins left halfway to visit their girlfriend's/boyfriend's house. It made me wonder how many more years we can gather altogether and celebrate CNY. Maybe in a couple of years, my cousins will be married and everyone will have conflicting days to visit which side of their families etc. I get a headache even thinking of it now HAHA.

As usual, I gambled every single day of visiting and I won money!! hehe, I mostly won from my dad because he's really unlucky in gambling.

This CNY holds greater significance for me because I really fought hard to keep this occasion no different from the other years. In many many more years to come, I always want to treasure every occasion my relatives and I can meet and have fun.

I hope everyone finds contentment and happiness this year :)

Love,
Xin Hui
