MONTHLY FAVOURITES (MARCH 2015)

I can't think of how to start this post. I just can't wait to publish this and let all these memories be immortalised on the internet.

Favourite Family Day

I went to Gardens by the Bay and a boat ride along Singapore River with my family on Good Friday. It's been so long since we had such an eventful family outing. I really treasure family time together, and even though I was pretty bored looking at all the flowers, I had fun just spending time with my family <3

Favourite song(s)

Burning Bridges - One Republic

Steps - Handsome Ghost

Blood Stutter - Handsome Ghost

When you say nothing at all - Ronan Keating

Superwoman - Cao Ge (but i like Jam Hsiao's rendition the best)

Favourite Quote

This love, is very different from what I expected. But that doesn't mean I am disappointed. It doesn't mean this isn't a blessing.

Favourite Top

This white embroidery top from Forever21 ($35) has been my go-to staple this month. It's so versatile and has a muted elegance about it. The embroidery details are really clean and feminine and I guess that's what I like best about it <3

Favourite Outings with my friends

There really can't be a favourite for this one. Even though I was really very busy with school, I still sacrificed some time to spend with people I love. This month, I really broke almost a couple of times because I felt like the whole weight was just too much for me to bear. But God blessed me and gave me friends to count on, hope to carry on. I have never been more touched by His Grace. Thank you Samantha, Charis, Ai Ling (esp thanks for helping w AIS and MKT. It's over bb.) , Serene, Faqrul, Marcus, Marshall for just helping me in one way or another.

This month, I had to face up to whatever I was running away from as well. For a long time, I hid my wounds and pretended that it was not there. Only when I tried to commit to someone else, I realised that the fear and the broken pieces of me were still building inside me. I want to thank you for accepting me for who I am, and helping me along every step of the way.

April is going to be really hectic, as exams are at the end of this month, and I am freaking out. I am hoping that I can do myself proud. Finally done with this post, and out it goes to the world.

Love,
Xin Hui
